Paws Deep Animal Rescue Inc. was officially founded in July 2022 and is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Our mission is to save as many animals as possible who have no known serious behavioral concerns and are at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding and lack of shelter space. Every foster home and adoptive home gives us the opportunity to save another life.

We pull many of our animals from overcrowded shelters in Texas and Georgia, where euthanasia rates remain among some of the highest in the country, and transport them to areas where they have a greater opportunity to find safe, loving homes.

Although we are a small, family-run, all-volunteer rescue, our foster network continues to grow. We now have fosters throughout Northern Virginia, Virginia Beach, throughout Maryland, the Eastern Shore, and into Delaware, including Newark.

We believe rescue is truly a community effort. The more fosters, adopters, volunteers, transporters, and supporters who join us, the more animals we are able to give a second chance.
